IRS and Treasury issue guidance for owners of solar and wind powered energy facilities in low-income communities for increased energy credit under the Inflation Reduction Act

The Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service today issued final regulations and Revenue Procedure 2023-27 to provide guidance for owners of certain solar or wind facilities built in connection with low-income communities.
